Well we left home with faithful Mark driving us to the airport. We were very excited. As you can see we are looking very cheerful. The food however leaves something to be desired. A budget airline proves to be just that. We decide we need to buy some snacks to top up our menu. Dad in particular is hungry. a warm meal for breakfast doesn't really excite us!!

It's warm and humid when we arrive at Kuala Lumpur. The ground staff are slow and we have to wait in a long line to be checked. Hand in your water and buy more seems to be their motto!
We have arrived! The next leg is likely to put me off flying forever apparently :-)

I hope not because that would mean we ain't coming back. After 2 hours we are allowed to board. We have 13 and a half hours of flying ahead of us. Dad spends a lot of time dozing. Will and Mum do puzzles, watch a movie, and play on the ipad. Its a very long trip. We are very happy to arrive at Stansted airport at 9.30 at night. A taxi takes us to Greenways Lodge in a little town called Bishop's Stortford. We have a room with asmall kitchen and can make our own coffee tea, etc. We sleep well but are awake quite early in the morning.

ReplyDeleteit is a long flight but i know i can do it after having flown to Canada. If the movies are ok that helps heaps!!
